Electrifying cello phenom Nathan Chan joins Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra at Town Hall for Dmitri Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1 in SMCO's full-orchestra debut on the Great Hall stage. The charm and wit of Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 101 "The Clock" is reflected in a classical re-imagining of Sufjan Stevens' genre-bending LP, Enjoy Your Rabbit. The program also features Ascending Bird, a work of Iranian influence written for Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble by Siamak Aghaei and Colin Jacobsen.

To ensure the safety of all persons on site, SMCO requires proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status for all audience members. Attendees will be required to show their ID and vaccination card (picture or copy also acceptable) at the door, and to submit to a touchless temperature test. Children younger than 12 years old and individuals with a medical condition or closely held religious belief preventing vaccination can instead provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or NAAT test, taken within 48 hours prior to the event. SMCO additionally requires all audience members to wear a mask over their nose and mouth for the duration of the event, when not eating or drinking. Masks will be provided to those who do not have them. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 the day of the performance, including fever, shortness of breath or coughing, do not attend the event.

Each ticket buyer acknowledges that any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19. By purchasing a ticket, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and you agree to follow all safety guidelines. You also agree to release, waive, and discharge Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra and its partners and sponsors from all liability, claims, and demands including but not limited to damages, losses, or illness which may arise from your participation in the event.

All artists and staff on site are fully vaccinated.
